Popular Nigerian Actress,Caught Stealing...Beaten Mercilessly

Popular  Nigerian Actress,Caught Stealing...Beaten Mercilessly

I'm beginning to think that this beautiful actress, Yetunde Akilapa, has some serious spiritual problem:
She was caught earlier in 2013 with about 100 master keys trying to steal valuables in her compound in Lagos in a very controversial matter, but she was later released. Just this week, the same actress has been again in the act in the Magodo area of Lagos.

On the morning of Sunday January 12, 2014, there was a loud noise around No 15 Ibitayo street, in Magodo Phase 2, Lagos, as people were shouting ''thief thief''! and running after a lady in black dress...
The lady, without shoes, tried running inside a walled estate. Unfortunately for her, before she could get to the gate, the security on duty mobilised and caught her.

She was escorted back to number 15 Ibitayo street where she had earlier been caught inside one of the master bedroom with a bunch of master keys hidden in her brassiere.
Actress Yetunde Akilapa was beaten mercilessly before she was later handed over to the police. So sad!

  5. This isn't normal to me. This to me has a spiritual undertone, they wouldn't have been beaten her because i don't think she is normal.
Her people should take her for serious deliverance better still take her to the Redemption Camp for prayers and i am sure all will be well after all.
The devil just wants to destroy her life.Quite unfortunate.IYKE

  13. Have you guys ever heard of one going through hard time. Roles getting shorter and drying up. Actresses getting older and getting all used up by the industry to be left behind without looking back for one of theirs. Being desperate and acting desperate, just to survive. I think the movie industry should start looking out for their veteran actors and actresses, for not everybody made it to the level of Jolade and Genny of this doyen industry. I feel real pity for this lady. Yesterday, she was accoladed, today she is being persecuted. Its the same the world over. May God help us as a nation. Enuff said.

Pope Francis is selling one of his two Harley Davidson motobikes in order to raise money for charity.
The 1,585cc Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide was given to the Pope in June 2013 along with another bike to mark the 110th anniversary of the motorcycle brand.
The hog, which has been signed on the tank by the Pope, is to be auctioned off by Bonhams auction house in Paris, France in February and will raise money for Caritas Roma, a charity which works on behalf of the Roman Catholic church.

The bike, which has an estimated cost of £12,000, will be sold with no reserve in order to raise as much money as possible for Caritas Romas.
The charity hope to use any money to renovate a soup kitchen in Rome which offers food and shelter to more than 1,000 people.
Ben Walker, head of motorcycles at Bonhams, said: 'We are incredibly honoured to be selling this item on behalf of Caritas Roma. We hope to be able to do both Pope Francis and Harley-Davidson proud by raising a significant amount of money for a very worthy cause.'

It is not the first time that a papal vehicle has been sold in order to raise money.
In 2005 a Volkswagen Golf which belonged to Pope Benedict was sold anonymously on eBay to German man.

How coffee can perk up your memory: Drinking a strong mug after a learning session can improve recall

  • Researchers in Baltimore, Maryland, carried out tests on 100 people
  • Showed them a series of images which they had to remember
  • Then gave some participants 200mg of caffeine - the same as a strong cup
  • Those who took dose could remember pictures more clearly the next day

Coffee doesn’t just perk you up – just one mug a day can give your memory a boost too, experts claimed yesterday.
In a study of more than 100 people, scientists said a 200mg caffeine pill – equivalent to a strong mug – taken soon after a learning session improved image recall.
Participants had to identify pictured objects as either outdoor or indoor items, before taking either the pill or a placebo five minutes later.
Saliva samples were taken beforehand to measure their caffeine levels and again one, three and 24 hours afterwards.
The next day, they were shown some of the same images, plus similar ones and random new ones.
Both groups correctly identified pictures as being new or old, but those on caffeine were better at spotting the similar alternatives.
Those who received the placebo incorrectly identified these as the originals from the day before, showing that caffeine enhances certain memories at least up to 24 hours after it is consumed, according to the findings published in the journal Nature Neuroscience.
Dr Michael Yassa, of the University of California, Irvine, said: ‘Caffeine enhanced consolidation of long-term memories.

‘We have always known caffeine has cognitive enhancing effects, but its particular effects on strengthening memories and making them resistant to forgetting has never been examined in detail in humans. We report for the first time a specific effect of caffeine on reducing forgetting over 24 hours.’
Improved: Those who took a dose of caffeine after a period of learning were able to identify pictures more effectively the following day than those who did not take the pill

The brain’s ability to recognise the difference between two similar items reflects a deeper level of memory retention, researchers said.
Dr Yassa added: ‘If we used a standard recognition memory task without these tricky similar items, we would have found no effect of caffeine. However, using these items requires the brain to make a more difficult discrimination, what we call pattern separation, which seems to be the process enhanced by caffeine.’
The research is different from most earlier experiments that found caffeine had little or no effect on long-term memory, because the subjects took the caffeine only after they had viewed and tried to memorise the images.
Dr Yassa said: ‘Almost all prior studies administered caffeine before the study session so if there is an enhancement, it is not clear if it is due to caffeine’s effects on attention, vigilance, focus or other factors.
'By administering caffeine after the experiment, we rule out these effects and make sure if there is an enhancement, it is due to memory and nothing else.’
The caffeine-induced improvement was not seen with smaller doses of caffeine or when it was given an hour before viewing the images.

Teen Allegedly Throws Boiling Water On Girl For Unfriending Him On Facebook

A spurned teen took revenge on a girl by burning her face with boiling water after she unfriended him on Facebook, according to police in India.
The Independent reports that the boy, from Bihar state in northern India, came to the 15-year-old victim's house on Wednesday and said he had left his I.D. in the home. He then allegedly shoved the girl's mother aside and poured water on the victim's face.
The Times of India reported that the girl was taken to a hospital where she's being treated for burns to 20 percent of her face including her right cheek and right side of her neck.
Other outlets have identified the boy, but The Huffington Post has not because he is a minor and has not been charged as an adult. Police are currently looking for him after he fled, following the incident. He is an undergraduate student at a Muzaffarpur college.
In a translation of a statement to police obtained by the Hindustan Times, the victim said, "My father is a teacher and he (the accused) used to come for tuitions to our home. I accepted his (Facebook) friend request a year ago because I found him decent then. But of late he had become abusive and so I unfriended him last week."
Gawker reports that "with Facebook steadily becoming the exclusive means of communication among teens in India, tragic news stories involving young Indian Facebook users are similarly on the rise."
In October, a 17-year-old Indian girl reportedly committed suicide after her parents banned her from
